Sugar, sugar, sugar, sugar, French fries. It was that kind of weekend. Don’t worry, there was strenuous exercise involved too. I work out hard to eat harder.
Somehow, The Husband convinced me to get on a bicycle (one of those thin-wheeled road bikes with the shoes you have to clip in, you guys). After a rough 18 miles and one small tumble when my legs literally collapsed, there are areas on my person that are still screaming at me. I promised her a Thai massage next weekend!
I hate cycling and I love sugar and fries so I don’t know what to say here. Part of your weekend is my jam and part is my idea of hell. And Thai massages are my fave ever. Love you!

SSsssstop the jealousy from happening again… those french fries are calling my name! How in the hell do you eat like that and drink… and still have a small ass? Hater! Super proud of 18 miles… boo to bruises, but yay’s to peddles! Xo
Work out to eat harder? I’m seeing a t-shirt slogan in your future.

At least you work hard. More often than not, I just play hard π xoxo
18 miles?? not on a stationary bike?? Oh my goodness, I would have had a bucket of fries afterwards, if I made it through!
I’m 30 years old and I don’t know how to ride a bike…..
I never made it past training wheels π¦
I can eat carbs like its my job tho!
18 miles?! eat some mo fries. you earned it!
I am definitely scared of clip in’s – even in spin class haha
I totally hear you, I run to eat more π I meant to ride this weekend but didn’t find the time. How long have you been using clip-ins? All that food looks so tasty!
Cara, it’s my third time cycling ever as an adult so I’ve only worn the clip-ins a total of 3 times. It’s quite scary actually!
tut! Well, as long as you exercised.
My weekend was similar but without the strenuous exercise and probably a few more carbs π
Proud of you for conquering your fear and hopping on the bike! Do you like how I say that like I actually ride bikes? Because I don’t. I don’t even like spin class. I just ate a lame salad for lunch and am now craving that oatmeal cookies with a side of fries, all washed down with sangria… totally normal. -l
18 miles?!? That’s marathon status. Can you walk? No wonder you treated yo’self to sugar. Vicodin for me.
oh my, good job!! and i love the looks of your instagrams, yum!
xx
Yikes…that sounds akin to torture for me…but I’m more of a runner than a bike rider…maybe because I hate wiping out (c: But hey, if it got you these tasty rewards, I say RIDE ON, my friend!
Aubrey, I’m more of a runner too, but sometimes I have to compromise in the name of love ya know?!
