It finally happened. I caught the Christmas bug, which was spurred on by the two dozen Sprinkles cupcakes a vendor sent me at work last week. Then I made a long list of material stuff I expect hope the Husband will get me. Oh and we also put up our tree, cuddled with some ewoks, had dinner with friends (complete with the strongest mint juleps alive) and listened to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas” on repeat. You can call me Ms. Claus.

what’s better than xmas lights, mariah carey, baking and alcohol combined? nada.
My tree is up but not decorated yet! I have, however started consuming my fair share of champagne and chocolate stuff! We spent the weekend involved in the production of the Nutcracker and while I am still exhausted, it is the most magical way of starting the holidays! That mint julep looks divine!

I caught the bug the after Thanksgiving when we went to see the holiday shop windows on 5th Avenue! And last night we played Christmas music, put the tree up and decorated it (or rather, I did… My boyfriend tried to block it out and took a nap). I loooooove December!
I haven’t quite caught the bug yet. Maybe I should follow in your steps this coming weekend.
