Carb Therapy

Sundays leading up to the Super Bowl can cause severe Lonely Wife Syndrome. And even though the Husband is pretty amazing about keeping his game viewing to a minimum, there’s still too much time for me to stuff my face. I find carbohydrate therapy to be incredibly soothing. On Sunday, I tackled homemade pretzels (as in the kind not from Costco). They were suprisingly easy to make and so fluffy — the secret is to poach the dough. I even had time to drink a bottle of wine and take pictures while I baked. I’m a pro multitasker.

    Yum! Those look delicious! I wonder how many weight watchers points I would use on a bottle of wine and a plate of homemade pretzels? they look worth the splurge!
