Weekend Warriors

The husband and I used to be a lot less lazy on the weekends, tackling DIY projects like refinishing the kitchen cabinets and removing grout from the bathroom tiles. This weekend, we thought we’d take a break from watching True Blood and focus instead on repainting our huge floor mirror. It’s currently an espresso color and leans vertically against the wall behind our dining room table. Now with the new dark floors and our existing dark table, I decided to brighten up the room by painting the mirror white. Then we plan to hang it horizontally on the wall. Before and after photos to come.
