Celebrities Hanging Out

Instead of doing something productive like catching up on the last 10 episodes of Smash, I spent a good part of the night on this site. I’m not on Tumblr because my brain can’t manage another social media forum, but oh do I love it. If you feel like wasting your life, here’s TIME’s list of 30 Must See Tumblr Blogs. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

You guys, Demi Moore doesn’t really look like a teenager in real life. How shocking.

Best Performances

The Academy Awards are like my version of the Super Bowl and I force it on the Husband. It’s payback for the incessant “Tebowing” that’s gone on in our house for the last few months.

On Oscar Sunday, we drink white wine spritzers and comment on the Valentino and Badgley Mischka atiliers. I can hardly wait!

The list of nominees for Best Performance this year are making me break a sweat. How sexy are these photos by Mario Sorrenti for W Magazine?

Shame

If they were to remake Peter Pan for the hundredth time, Carey Mulligan would for sure play Tinkerbell. She’s such a delicate little thing isn’t she? And this W Magazine spread might just be my favorite ever. Her latest role is in the movie Shame.

“In Shame, which is out now, you play Sissy, a deeply troubled girl with an almost incestuous attachment to her brother (Michael Fassbender), a sex addict. Both characters are in search of something—anything—that will make them feel whole. Sissy, who works as a singer, is naked even when she’s clothed. She reveals too much, sleeps with the wrong men, and when she turns up unexpectedly in her brother’s spare, pristine New York City apartment, the effect is like a bomb going off: The siblings ignite each other’s self-destructive ways. Shame is unsettling and haunting.”
