I’m going to Mardi Gras you guys. Like the real one in New Orleans. I know, I can’t believe it either. I’m a little scerred of all the groping I’m told will ensue, but the Husband is 6’6” so he’s got my back. I also have anxiety about the bathroom issue as I have a strict no porta potty policy and I tend to drink too much. Any tips/tricks?

I’ll be back with a recap on Wednesday unless I’m really tired and I need an extra day to recover. You understand right?

Love Day

We stopped celebrating Valentine’s Day sometime in the early 2000s but don’t worry, I’m not a hater. I understand that it’s a good excuse to get presents and wear lingerie. So go celebrate love for me. I’ll be Pinning and watching the second half of the Grammy’s tonight while the Husband is in class.

Getting Old

Last week I paid someone to stick needles into me. Acupuncture didn’t offer the relief I expected and I walked out with $30 worth of herbs I can’t stomach. But I learned how to meditate. And in an effort to keep the good vibes going throughout the weekend, I stayed mostly away from wine, went to bed embarrassingly early, consumed food with lots of antioxidants, and surrounded myself with flowers and puppies. I imagine this is what retirement feels like.

Oh and I also got my Lady Luck rings from Mollie’s giveaway at Twirly skirts. So I’m a winner!

Were you as big of a Felicity fanatic as I was? Two words: Scott Speedman. He’s reappearing on the big screen final-effing-ly. And his character is a jerk, which is when I love him the most. The Vow with Rachel McAdams is opening on Friday. I will wait until I can stream it on Netflix.

Easy Enchiladas

Sometimes I just want a gooey enchilada without any fuss. So I bust out the shredded cheese and canned enchilada sauce and I have myself a gooey enchilada without any fuss. Observe.

Easy as hell enchiladas recipe:

Slap some Mexican blend cheese onto flour tortillas. Roll and place in baking dish. Smother with Old El Paso enchilada sauce and bake at about 400 degrees until cheese gets bubbly. Top with fresh cilantro, jalapenos, diced tomatoes and sour cream. Eat with a margarita.

I Can’t Think of a Title

The weekend was filled with indulgence…Like 6 bottles of wine kind of indulgence. Don’t worry, I shared. We had the best time playing with kids and dogs on Saturday and then playing with kids and dogs again on Sunday. I feel fairly rejuvenated. But it’s Monday so who knows how long that will last. Happy start of the week!
